All Things Optic: Pt. 3
Using Full-Service Creativity to Deliver Clarity & Consistency
Last week, we were pleased to launch our new showreel and updated website, showcasing our recent branding, design and video production projects. Now more than ever, we are demonstrating how our services and processes combine to provide clarity and consistency across a range of relevant media.
Despite the current lockdown, we find ourselves in a busy period, developing a range of new brand and web projects across food and drink, tech and green energy sectors. As a business well rehearsed in working remotely, we have been able to continue to deliver these projects with relatively little disruption. As you'd expect, most of our film production projects have been put on hold until the situation allows on-site work to continue, however we have been able to remain productive by shooting a range of new product videos internally, in preparation for their launch over the coming weeks.
May is looking like a busy month ahead with annual report season upon us, creating bespoke infographics and imagery for our clients. Most notably, we're continuing our work with London-based Tideway, documenting their progress on the underground projects they manage beneath the River Thames. You can see our designs from previous years here.
Free Lunch Fridays
We recently launched our 'Free Lunch Fridays' initiative, aimed at providing creative marketing support to charities and businesses in our extended network who have been directly impacted by the recent Covid19 situation. As the name suggests, we have dedicated our Fridays to the cause, at no cost to those who we are able to help.
While the current restrictions are still in place, we are limited in being able to offer our full suite of creative services but have so far been able to provide support across branding & strategy, promotional design and online / social content design. If you would like to find out more about how we may be able to provide support to your charity or business through the initiative, please see: studio-optic.co.uk/news/freelunchfridays or contact us via hello@studio-optic.co.uk.
Keeping in touch
Last week, we took part in a local community ‘webinar / not webinar’ organised by Steff Wright and the team at Gusto Group.
We discussed our ‘Free Lunch Fridays’ initiative, offering free creative support to those directly impacted who can benefit from it as well as how software such as Zwift is enabling clubs in our community to continue exercising and socialising whilst in isolation. There’s so much to be grateful for in the area we live and work – even more so when communities such as this come together as they have done throughout the lockdown period.
As the wheels of industry slowly start to turn again, there’s a lot of projects in motion to be excited about. Despite all of the uncertainty of recent weeks and months, we are grateful to work with clients who continue to push their creative marketing, to remain vocal and current in their respective sectors and who see the benefits of our services even more so at this time.
With multiple new projects launching throughout May, we will be posting regular insights into all recent work on our Instagram and social feeds:
