Project: Hackathon 2021 & ‘DRE’

Following on from the success of the 2020 Hackathon, I worked with Adarga again this year to deliver a new project that takes things even further.
I provided a suite of new branding designs, marketing content and branded collateral for the event, which was hosted at the Defence BattleLab in Dorset.
In collaboration with the British Army, the Hackathon event was a major success once again and served as a prelude to a new initiative called the Digital Readiness Experiment (DRE).
Successful participants from the Hackathon event were invited to take part in the ‘DRE’, taking their ideas and proposals from the Hackathon one step further to reality. The combined output of the two events have taken the initiative to new heights and it was crucial that our services supported and reflected this. Take a look at the brand application and designs below, alongside video and photography showcasing the event produced by the team at BFBS.

The Adarga team have been developing AI analytics software to transform data intensive human-knowledge processes since 2016.
I had the pleasure of working with Adarga in partnership with the British Army to produce a suite of branded designs for the 2020 Hackathon: A special event exploring new ways to solve the real-world challenge of ending illegal poaching.
I designed a brand lock-up and provided a suite of imagery inspired by technological glitches and broken information. As a largely remote-based event, I provided designs for a proposed event package for those that could not attend in person. The contents of the package were bespoke for the teams involved, with a range of printed and digital assets that differentiated team members.
