Keeping your energy supplier honest is a faff. Labrador does it for you, keeping track your energy bills and automatically switching to a better deal when you save £80 or more.
With a core service of auto-switching energy providers for their customers, I was tasked with providing Labrador with a new identity that made this unique offering much more prominent in an already cluttered industry.
I proposed a new brand asset called ‘the switch’. Using 2 arrow devices, ‘the switch’ is used as part of the logo as well as a scalable device that houses messaging across the company’s marketing. The aim of ‘the switch’ is to evoke motion, representing the vast and ever-changing range of energy tariffs on offer. Combined with a simplified and modernised colour palette and typeface, the direct nature of the new branding allows for more efficient messaging when it comes to communicating the company’s services.
